Use Cases
The motion detector / sensor will notify you on your smartphone with push notifications. The sensor can be installed indoor or/and outdoor… It can be used to protect your home, your valuable things, your kids and family. Moreover, the sensor can send you low battery notification on your mobile and let you replace the batteries before they die.
The Concept
The motion detector is also known under the name of “motion sensor” and “motion detector”. It is called sometimes “PIR motion sensor”.
The sensor contains one piece only. When a movement is detected by the sensor, the information will be sent automatically to your smartphone, and you will receive a notification. The current sensor needs only WiFi to work and doesn’t need “smart gateway” or any kind of central gateway to communicate with your smartphone. However, you can find in the market other technologies based on Zigbee protocol, Z-Wave protocol and sometimes Bluetooth. All these technologies are part of the world digital transformation concepts like IoT / Internet of Things, Smart Homes, Digital Twins…etc
Most of these sensors can also send you a low-battery notifications as mentioned previously.
